When we try to "make" someone be good — be kind, be faithful, be conscious — we enter the realm of control, not love. And control is fear dressed in a thousand disguises.
Letting someone be good is an act of faith. It means stepping back and allowing space for their soul to speak louder than your expectations. It means trusting their inner compass — and honoring yours enough to walk away if they won't rise.
You deserve love that comes willingly, freely, and without force. Let them show you who they are. Your power is not in changing someone, but in choosing yourself when they don’t choose growth.
