Embrace Change

Hello Sweet Souls,

It has been a while since my last communication and I wanted to write you at one of my favorite times of the year. Each month of the year holds an essence or a quality within the season it resides. For me, September is a reflective, transitional and ceremonial time of year.

September is a special time of year for me, as it is the month my son was born, as well, my birth month. This year is of particular significance to the introspective and transitional nature of September. My son Cole, turned 17 years old on September 6th, as I enter into a new decade, turning 50 on September 24th. Even more exceptional this particular year is that my sister Lucy was born when I was 17 years old, same age as my son, will be turning 33 this year, the age I was when I birthed Cole, who now towers over me at 6' 2 and who's muscles take over the far end of the kitchen right in front of the fridge. If he's not on his bed snap-chatting or proudly flexing his muscles in the mirror, he is leaning his hungry mouth into the fridge. Of course, I say this with the most endearing tone and the with sweet tenderness in my heart for all the treasured memories of his childhood as I think on how he will be flying off to college in just a few years.

It's been a robust summer for me and my seeds of desire have bloomed in more ways than one (Read below about mediumship and friendship). This time of year tells to me to take myself underground where I can reflect and nurture the growth that I have experienced since late spring. It is a time to surrender into a deeper and more quiet part of myself. To shed and go bare like the trees that are turning colors and dropping leaves.

Most of us will continue the hustle and bustle of summer's physical and mental energy, especially with the sun being so bold and bright. It's easy to get off balance if you are not paying attention to nature's subtle changes. However, if you pause and use all your senses, and even your intuitive senses you will detect a slight change from summer to very beginnings of autumn. Look around, notice what animals, insects and birds have gone and what new ones have arrived. See the changes of colors and the geese flying south. Feel the air, how crisp, cool and dry it feels. The brisk, crisp, slightly sharp smell is the smell of trees, leaves, and plants decomposing. This all can go undetected by our busy minds that are in a constant movement forward, but when you are present your senses come alive. When you are present you can connect into the energy of the season.

The nature of life is always in transition. When we pay attention we can respond in a way that supports and nourishes our life. If we continue bulldozing our energy through without pause, our body will respond by feeling more tired, emotionally off balance and you may be surprised by a sudden mild illness.

A Few Tips For Transitioning Gracefully From Summer To Fall.

Time To Reflect
Now it is time to take your thoughts in. Take inventory of what you have learned and what it is you want to do next. A journal practice is a great way to reflect on the summer months and a way to touch in with how you would like to experience the coming season. Take your pen to paper and give gratitude  for what you have learned, name the beautiful moments and the things you have been able to do. Consider the season to come and what changes you might want to make to your projects and holiday plans that would bring more grace, ease and fulfillment into your life.

Time To Rest
Give yourself time to rest instead of listening to the GO GO, DO DO voice. Let yourself sleep in or go to bed early or have an afternoon nap. Let yourself be idle. Stare out the window or pet your furry friend. This is a time to build your strength. A time to go deep within to sprout new seeds of desires so that you may thrive and blossom when in the warm summer light shines again.

Time to Self Care
The fall can be an emotional and vulnerable time as it is the transitional nature of the season. Focus on incorporating self care strategies that are nourishing and soothing for your mood, such as massage, meditation, hot baths, yoga, gentle walks in the early morning or evening. Splurge on one of your favorite magazines and indulge yourself by reading it cover to cover. Consider a gentle cleanse and nourish yourself with fall foods that warm and hydrate your body.

Time To Be Creative  Engaging in creativity helps to focus your mind and connect to your heart. Find something creative you like to do. Make music, write, dance, garden, cook, paint, draw or put together a puzzle, to name just a few. You will indeed find creativity to be your source for peace and clarity.

I hope this communication gives gives you inspiration to let go and give yourself some soul time. If you have a few more moments read on about my summer of friendship and mediumship and opportunities to receive and give gifts that nourish the heart and soul.

Every season has its energy and spring is a time of budding new desires, where as summer is a time to bring the desires into fruition. Sometimes those desires within us are unconsciously seeded, as in my case, training to be a medium. A medium is the bridge between human and spirit world. It is the service of bringing through the communication of loved ones who have passed, to their loved ones here presently in physical form. In May of this year I discovered Suzanne Giesemann, a professional Medium and a teacher of the program, Sacred Evidenced Based Mediumship. Suzanne Giesemann became a professional medium after a 25 year career in the military and has for the last 15 years given mediumship readings that have healed thousands of hearts. I was riveted by her story, as she described the traumatic circumstances that led to the loss of her step daughter, who was also pregnant, and how her grief and fear of death was healed through a mediumship reading she received and that catalyzed her journey into a mediumship profession. Something greater took a hold of me and I could not move quick enough to register for her course, Sacred Evidence Based Mediumship.

Although I'm a spiritual coach and work intimately with my spiritual guides to bring healing and wisdom to myself and my clients I had a moment of realization that I was actually going to be connecting and communicating with the deceased, who are now in spirit form. I thought, what have I gotten myself into? Do I really want to do this? As I started to do practice readings and receive affirmations from the sitters (clients) that I indeed was connecting with their loved ones based on evidence I was bringing forth. I began to feel an exhilaration for life, ironically I was connecting with the deceased and feeling more lively. I always felt truth in our human soul, but to channel in this way brought me an irrefutable knowing that our soul exists with or without a body. I began to feel my own fears dissipate as healing messages poured in for my clients from their deceased loved ones. I felt renewed with a sense of purpose as I experienced how healing it is for those who have lost someone dear to be reconnected again. Simultaneously as my mediumship studies blossomed a new friendship was waiting in the wings.

I met the most extraordinary woman at my very first class at breakout session. The purpose of a breakout session is to get into small groups to practice or discuss what the teacher has assigned, for our particular work it was connecting with our intuition and giving practice readings for the other participants.

When I saw JJ Crow, my now dear friend, client and soul sister, pop up in my virtual room I lit up like a christmas tree. It was like seeing a long lost friend. What struck me most was her luminous energy and her gleaming smile. With a sudden sigh of relief and excitement we carried on with our practice assignment, which was to intuit information about the other participants as a way to develop our mediumship skills. I knew immediately she was a writer. I saw her writing a book. I saw an image of the Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe. I felt that we had all entered into a magical closet and that something very special was going to happen and it did.

I have enclosed an excerpt that JJ wrote regarding our work together that has been a catalyst to her new book project and our very sweet friendship that continues to blossom. JJ Crow is truly a special lady. She will be 81 years old this year and she has the energy and enthusiasm of a ten year old and the wisdom and the heart of a saint. I hope that you will subscribe to her weekly healing acronym emails and donate to her new book project. It be would be graciously appreciated .

With love, JJ Crow

An alchemy of awareness happens in my sessions with Faith. With her intuitive body work and mediumship skills
and my channeling acrownyms our intentions create blessings and healings for both of us, simultaneously.

It’s MAGIC: Mystery And Grace In Cahoots

Faith encouraged me to write about how we receive messages and energetic releases in each of our encounters. I’m writing
a series of essays called, Miracle Healing with Faith, describing the powerful transmissions that come through while Faith is
giving me a massage.

What I call acrownyms come to me when I am walking in nature. They give me guidance for overcoming challenges, focusing, and staying peaceful within. I’m compiling a book of these sacred transmissions to inspire others to ask for guidance and tune into
their own innate wisdom and creativity.

The choice to shift our awareness from being stressed to being centered is easy when we stop, take a few deep breaths, and remember to listen to our heart.
My intention is to share inspired teachings and tools that make it easy to incorporate the knowledge that sets us free from irritating mind chatter, and gives us awareness that brings joy, peace of mind, abundance and a continuous sense of well being.
